Veterans Day and a Proud Mum Day!

This weekend was the Veterans Weekend in town. There are lots of Military demonstrations and displays in the town park. Normally it wouldn't be my kind of thing as I'm not a huge fan of warfare and the Military. Today was different. Today was a milestone for me and for Big.

Hopeless Case

This has been a tough week. I realised last night that it has taken its toll on me. I am starting to struggle with everything that is going on. I was sat in the bath last night when the realisation dawned that in 14 weeks I'm going to have another baby to look after.

Time Out with Squish

With Chaos playing happily in his new nursery, I am now able to spend some very valuable time alone with my little Squish monster. He has always been over powered by his older brother, such is his easy going nature, so it is lovely to give him the chance to choose what we do twice a week. He is at a point where he wants some independence too so it has all happened at just the right time.

Relax And Enjoy

Summer Solstice at Glastonbury Tor

For the last few years I have wanted to go to either Stonehenge or Glastonbury for the Solstice. When the time has arrived I just haven't had the umph to do it knowing that little people will await my return. I also don't feel like I would have the will to battle with the crowds that assemble at the Henge. Not yet anyway!
This year was different. This year I went!

First Week At Nursery

Last week was a big week here.  Little Chaos began settling sessions in his new nursery. After the huge upset he had suffered from his old nursery,  this was a big thing for all of us.  I was very aware that he may not be totally ready to take on another setting just yet as his behaviour at home was showing signs of boredom,  I had little choice but to give it a whirl.

Big Day For Little Chaos

I have written previously about the progress Chaos has made since leaving his old nursery. (You can read about it Here.) Today dawned with a few nerves for both of us. Both unsure of how the day would go but hopeful for a positive outcome.

Just Another Manic Monday...

Another week of entertaining the little people loomed large. I won't lie, I am finding it a bit of a struggle at the moment. Chaos is going through one of his hyperactive/bullying/needing constant attention phases at the moment. Squish has decided that the safest place to be is watching the tv (as it's too calm an activity for Chaos) which isn't ideal but I honestly can't blame him.

That Old Familiar Feeling...

It's amazing how you can get so engrossed in day to day life and other things go unnoticed. Has that ever happened to you? Happily getting through the day to day until something happens that makes you realise things aren't quite right. That was me yesterday.

Having A Girl

This is my fourth pregnancy and it's true what they say, no two pregnancies are alike. This one is totally unlike any of the other three in all respects. I am currently 22 weeks and slow baking a disco diva by the feel of things!

Amazing Chaos

I know I write about my little Chaos quite a lot. He is quite a handful and full of beans, jumping ones at that! Well, this time I have some amazing progress to report. I am one proud Mummy!!

Decopatch Animals

Over the holidays I have been looking for some different activities for the boys to do. Luckily a new craft shop has opened up in the town called Krafty Monkey. There are many wonderful projects in there that I would love to do with the boys. I managed to limit myself to two, for now! This is our decopatch project.
