Gifts from China - Happy New Year!

I have been a member of Postcrossing for over a year now. If you haven't heard of it before, it is an international postcard swap site. I love it and have received loads of wonderful cards and made a few pen pals through it. Last year I had a message asking if I could send some Dr Who 50th Anniversary stamps to a lady in China who was a real fan. I got her a set of stamps and also sent the Official Annual for that year too. I hadn't swapped with her before so wasn't sure if I would hear back from her. I received a parcel in the post this morning that made my day!

Kat's Krazy Sleep Out

This year I wanted to do something a bit different for a local charity. Something that will challenge me as well as raise money for a good cause. I have wanted to help the homeless in our area for a while but until now, I haven't felt in a position to for one reason or another. Having looked online, there is a charity that help the homeless in Bath called Julian House. Bath is only half an hour from me so I decided to look into different ways I could help. There are several things that I'd like to help with and the first is The Big Bath Sleep Out.

A Quicky...

Hey, hey! Just a quicky...

I am doing a weekend course with Medium, Ross Bartlett in a couple of weeks. The lovely man has agreed to answer some questions for my little blog. If there is anything you would like me to ask him, leave me a comment. I shall combine his interview with a post about my experience on his course. I'm really looking forward to it!

The move went well. We have all the furniture in the right places now so we just have to unpack the boxes into them. Will post about it properly soon. Thought I might even do a vlog for a change!

Getting Groovy...

The very wonderful Kate on Thin Ice has got me thinking about getting my groove back. So far this year things are looking up for us. (You can read about that here) Kates post has made me think about the things I want for me. Obviously, I am over the moon about recent events but they are going to benefit us as a whole. Selfishly, I want to focus a little more on me this year and escape the Cinderella syndrome that I seem to have developed. Where better to share my thoughts and progress than with all the other Groovy Mums!

Seizure

This morning I wanted my husband to have a lie in as he has been up with the boys all week to help me out. I grabbed their clothes and headed downstairs with the boys. I made them some toast then got the kettle on for warm juice and coffee. It felt good to be back in the driving seat and coping ok.

Again

Well, here we go again. Almost 2 years after starting my little blog to keep a record of my progress and hopefully help others in the fight against PND, I'm back where I started. I am walking hand in hand with my old buddy The Shadow...

Only this time I know his game. I know the rules. I've played him before and this time I'll beat him for good.

Saturday is Caption Day!

Today

I'm sat here in my pjs at 2.30pm. I'm in bed as it just seems to cozy to leave right now. I have made a den in Squishs cot bed so they are happily playing. Big is in his room doing Big things involving the Xbox.  Today is not a good day.

Team Honk Does It Again For Sport Relief

Last year, Team Honk organised an amazing walk up Mount Snowdon to raise money for Comic Relief. Bloggers from all over the country and Ireland came together, most of whom had never met, and successfully raised £10,000!! Wooohooo what a result. I was very proud to have been a part of it all. So, when I discovered the fabulous Honkers were planning another event I couldn't refuse!
