Atmosphere...

....I love a house with a shitty atmosphere (anyone else remember Russ Abbotts pop attempt?!) Silent Sunday? Isn't it just!

I have noticed today that our clocks only Tick and don't Tick Tock

I have noticed that my posture chair creaks who ever sits on it

Tiny flies can make a lot of noise, especially at close range

The velcro on the dog bed peels a bit every time she moves

With a bit of effort I can hear Chaos snoring from downstairs

BiL laptop fan is MUCH louder than mine

Also, all the door handles upstairs squeak

Quiet? Yeah just a bit

I Think I Just Issued an Ultimatum....

So today has not started so well. As you know I have been struggling recently with a bit of a low mood. I have thought about it a lot and come to the conclusion it is down to our home environment. There are currently 5 males living here and up until now I have been expected to clear up after them. I have told them I'm not going to keep doing it but I'm just being a moaning Mum, right?    WRONG!

The Isle of Enlightenment

As you may have gathered we went away on holiday last week. Whilst entertaining little beans, trying to catch up on sleep and spend a bit of time with my husband, I also managed to see things from a different perspective. I have been finding life a bit tough again lately and being away gave me a chance to work out some of the reasons why.

Hello my little blogety blog, I've missed you! I've missed telling you all about my day and how I feel about the latest drama. I've missed you're pretty autumnal coloured leaves and you're little counters that tell me how fast my babies are growing. I've been on holiday, you know. I wrote a list of all the things I wanted to tell you when I got back so I wouldn't forget. I have some brilliant photos to show you too. I wish I could have taken you with me but we can't go everywhere together now can we?!

Well, smack me in the face with a wet, soggy nappy..... Monday again, Hurrah!! Obviously, I'm being a smidge sarcastic. I was woken up this morning, properly, as I stumbled towards the bathroom. I sneezed rather unexpectedly and smacked my head on the bathroom door. Brilliant!! You know straight away you're in for a bloody wonderful day, don't you? (yes, more sarcasm!).

Oasis Horror

No, not the band or the green flower foam stuff either. The Oasis Leisure Center. This is a pool in Swindon with 4 big slides, several smaller ones of differing heights, a water cannon and a wave machine. It is heaven to all water babies and bigger kids alike. This is where we went today.

A Summer Swapperoony!

I can't believe it's the end of August already! The summer has flown by and left me feeling a whole lot craftier. I won't lie, after the initial buzz of arranging the swap and having people sign up, I suddenly felt a little bit overwhelmed. Once I realised that some of these talented ladies had their own online craft shops and all are involved in crafty things. I felt most inadequate. Like a paddler in a baby pool suddenly hosting the olympic diving... Way out of my depth! I think I managed to hold my own for my first attempt ever but see what you think...
