Do you have a favourite? It is one of those things that is deeply frowned upon. I am talking about children. Your children. Do you have a favourite? Is there one that springs to mind just by reading that? I'm guessing there probably is in most cases. Don't worry I won't tell anyone, your secret is safe with me.

Truly Blogging Blessed!

Since I started blogging I have met the most wonderful, kind hearted people who have helped me through some of the toughest times. I have always been a bit skeptical of "meeting" people online. I always thought you can never be sure who the person really is or what their motives are. I suppose the press present everything in a negative light these days. Maybe they should highlight the positives too..

Final Week of the Summer Swap!

A Family Fun Day

Yesterday we were all a bit lacking in ideas for things to do until my husband mentioned he had seen a Fun Day advertised at the local park. It was only down the road and not too much to get in so we thought we would head down there with the boys.

Not Quite Square One...

This has been a really tough week for a few reasons. I'm still not quite sure how I have made it to Friday but I'm pretty glad it's here. The boys have all been hard work as they are all finding things hard at the moment.

A Weekend of Firsts

Two of my boys accomplished some pretty amazing stuff this weekend and I am so proud of them both. I felt I should tell the world about it, oh and you!

An Update on our Guest

I wrote a post this morning about our visiting homing pigeon, that I have named Pidgy Coo (or Piggy Poo if you ask Chaos). I was hopeful that he was well on his way home after a whole days absence. Sadly, this was not the case.

No Silence for this Sunday!

Writing this now is a bad idea I know. Everyone is in bed and I am having breakfast with Chaos on the lose in the next room. I know I wont finish it but it's got to the stage that if I don't start things I'll never get anything done. I would probably forget what I was going to say which is more the problem these days!

An Uninvited Guest

This week we have had an uninvited visitor. Luckily for us, they were fairly well behaved and unobtrusive. Other than tapping on the kitchen window a few times for attention, our guest hardly noticeable.

My Nostalgic Weekend

Recently my Granny moved into a lovely home near us, to live. Understandably, she didn't really want to give up her lovely house in Surrey, that she had lived in for over 50 years. She has been down here since February and the time has come to sell the house....

Cloth Nappies...

In my infinite wisdom I have decided to have a go at using cloth nappies on the boys. I had thought about using them before with Chaos but we didn't have a way of drying them in the old house and it was winter so we decided to leave it a while. Now seems like as good a time as any so here we go!

Monday in Disguise....

After my Motivation post yesterday this is the opposite really. Today is not a good day. I realise it is not yet 10am so there is the possibility of improvement but at the moment that doesn't feel possible.

My Weekend and a Bit of Booty

I have had a rather good weekend. I have woken up this morning feeling the normal exhaustion but with an added sprinkle of achievement which feels great! I thought having done a bit of cleaning already, I would sit down with a cuppa and tell you all about it.

Things Are Gonna Change Around Here

Today, my brother in law is coming to stay with us for a while. He currently lives in Scotland with his Mum. Unfortunately, having finished college he hasn't had much luck finding a job. He doesn't drive and lives in a fairly rural area so transport is a problem. It's a catch 22 situation.
